Halfway through the year already, WOW! I don’t remember time running this fast when I was young. Feels like as years pass by, it’s running faster and faster.
Time is precious, it truly is. Everyday we should be and live our best. “Live today like it’s your last” ever heard of this phrase? I’m sure we all have. However, not everyday we can be, not everyday we are happy, there are times that days are just not going the way we planned. When that happens, I like to read one of my fave chapters in the Bible…
A Time for Everything – Ecclesiastes 3: 1-8
“There is a time for everything
and a season for every activity under the heavens:
a time to be born and a time to die,
a time to plant and a time to uproot,
a time to kill and a time to heal,
a time to tear down and a time to build,
a time to weep and a time to laugh,
a time to mourn and a time to dance,
a time to scatter stones and a time to gather them,
a time to embrace and a time to refrain from embracing,
a time to search and a time to give up,
a time to keep and a time to throw away,
a time to tear and a time to mend,
a time to be silent and a time to speak,
a time to love and a time to hate,
a time for war and a time for peace.”
This chapter reminds me that there is a“time for everything.” We are not perfect and so is this world. Only He is. But, whatever we may be going through or feeling, I hope we always find time to pray.
Time does seem to be flying and not many people are having fun. Thank you for the scripture (reminder).
